It literally screams the whole time during ice production. However, it does produce ice incredibly fast.

Pros: Makes ice in 3 different sizes Takes about 8 minutes to make ice Keeps ice cold since insulated Easy to fill and comes with a basket and scoop CONS: Simply DIED 2 mos after manufacturers warranty Fortunately I bought a warranty that covered the initial cost.
