Nothing worked. I usually use the oil radiant heaters. It could be that they feel warmer to me. The three stars is because I think it may have as much to do with my expectations as it's performance.

I used it when it was really, really cold outside and the water in my cat's water dish was frozen solid. I returned it and went back to the big box heater, which works fine, just not small, quiet or economical like I had hoped this heater would be.

Well it does not do that very well. I could be sitting 4 feet from it and can barely feel the heat with it blowing on the highest setting. I can’t recommend this product.
