    You definitely need this item for the dashcam but you can get everything in a bundle with the dashcam if you type it in to the search option get the one Year warranty for one year you never know it's only 6 dollars

    I tried to save money and bought a different memory card from a good manufacturer. However, it kept freezing and I needed to reset it often until the card finally failed. I ended up buying the Nextbase brand memory card and haven’t had a problem. Should have bought it the first time. It’s been about a month without a problem. Somewhat annoying that their own brand memory card is recommended at a higher price than a generic card, but it works.

    I got this for the dashcam, it suggests that it is proper for dashcams. I think it cost a bit more than i expected, as long as it lasts it should be ok.

    Sd card works good. Still having problems with my rear camera. Now it completely stopped working. I have cameras on 3 cars, all different brands, Nextbase is the worse. It started malfunctioning 2 months after I got it and it's the most expensive one out of the 3..........

    Bought this because the scandisc extreme I bought with the dash cam 622 would stop recording after awhile, formatting the scandisc and the recording started working again but would stop again. Nextbase recommends their brand flash drive. I have the 522 in another vehicle with a scandisc flash drive and it works fine. Have not used this long enough to know if it fixed the issue. But when you need a recording it is a pain to find it wasn't working.
