I was very disappointed with this purchase. The movie froze ten minutes into it.

This is an overrated movie, not my taste. Too much singing

DVD do not work already switch once and same problem.

this movie is a great movie, and now in blu ray it looks fantastic. the sound is great too. the movie story wise is a percect 5/5 , the PQ is great seeing all the little details, of the hardwork that went into making this great film, and the AQ is amazing, the songs are great ! i highly recommend this great movie ! and the special features are great, i watched the all and had a great time !! buy it if youre a fan !

I saw this in the theater originally when I was was a young adult and immediately knew I had witnessed something new and wonderful -- I just wasn't sure exactly what it was, but I knew it was fantastic. Kidnapping Santa -- really now? Jack Skellington is true genius. The marriage of this somewhat unique idea with Tim Burtons' wonderfully warped mind, a reinvention of stop motion photography and Danny Elfman nearing his peak output all combine to produce one of the finest pieces of animation I've witnessed. This ain't your mother's Disney that's for sure and we're all better for it. This Bluray presentation is close to perfection as well. With a visual and audio style that greatly benefits from a High Definition medium, this disc is a wonderful experience and makes a great way to show off your new toys if you're so inclined.

I bought a ps3 so I could finally enjoy the experience of blu ray. The nightmare before christmas was my first blu ray, and it looks incredible. The best way to describe it is to say that it was so pleasing to my sense, I felt as though I could almost taste it! This movie is absolutely 100 % incredible, the animation and sounds make this movie an entirely new experience, than ever before. I remember being a kid and loving this movie, as I got older I seemed get less excited about ever watching it, yet this experience changed all of that and I was ravished by its spectacular colors. I bought this blu ray on sale for 25$ , however since I have not had a blu ray player long it seemed a little much, but I was completely mistaken! It was worth every penny, seriously if you can, just buy this dvd!

This is a must have for any Nightmare Before Christmas fan. Jack has eight different phrases he says when you push the button on the side! It had a compartment on the back side where it stores the DVDs, his santa hat and beard and it has the Tim Burton poem in there as well. It also comes with a Digital Copy you can upload on iTunes and put on your iPod!! It is a bit pricey but so worth it.

This is one of the rare occasions where I don't mind a bunch of singing throughout the movie because the songs are quite catchy. The picture quality is excellent, my girlfriend kept saying how real some of the objects looked in the movie. The audio quality is what really got to me, being on blu-ray I was able to enjoy this movie in 7.1 surround sound and This movie has something special for everyone who watches it and has great characters like the mayor, the trick or treaters, oogie boogie, jack, and so many more that are very unique and interesting. The digital copy is also nice for those who have ipods are phones capable of downloading such material.

Probably one of the best movies ever. Very entertaining for kids and adults alike. Tim Burton's best animated film. If you ever wondered what would happen if the holiday heroes every met then this is your movie, especially if Halloween is one of your favorite holidays. Mine just happen to be Christmas and Halloween so this movie is perfect for me. If you ever get a chance to see it in 3D they every October there is a 3 week engagement of the film. It is awesome. This year it starts on October 3rd.

Have loved this movie since it came out shortly after I turned 13 years old back in 1993. It befell my mind as an instant classic. I'm glad to have It on blu-ray. Have never had it in any other format. Got it for $14.58 after the sale price and 10% ($1.49 off) from a birthday coupon from bestbuy received via email. Purchased in store. Will cherish it for sometime to come. My birthday is on October 3rd it's a slightly early birthday gift to myself . Hooray !!!

It's an amazing story about Jack Skellington and his desire to take over Christmas from Santa Claus. The story is great and can get your kids interested in both Halloween and Christmas at the same time. My 3 year-old likes to watch it everyday up to Halloween. Picture quality of the Blu-Ray is amazing compared to the old DVD.

Own this movie in every format it has been released in, including VHS would have liked to see some 3d bonus features new to this release such as a how the conversion process took place, or have easy difficult the process was being that this was one of the first post conversion movie to gain wide appeal in the new 3d market.

The animated musical "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a fantastic, fun film from the mind of Tim Burton. But you knew that already. It's the story of 2 holidays getting crossed up (Halloween and Christmas), with great music and songs by Danny Elfman. The Blu-ray has superb video and audio. I heartily recommend this film and the Blu-ray edition, though it may not be suitable for very young children. This is one of my all-time favorite films.

As a huge fan of this movie I was ecstatic when I learned of its release on Blue Ray. I raced out and bought it the day it came out and was in heaven. The picture is stunning and the sound is wonderful. Even the bonus features are top notch, including Burton's short Vincent and the short, Frankenweenie (which is getting a stop motion redo as we speak!!!) Even came with a digital copy for my laptop and iPod. Buy this now while you still can before disney takes it off the shelves again!!!!!!!!!

definitely buy a different version of this,,, this particular DVD set doesn't work well,,,, i had to replace this three times cause the DVDs were cra*,,, so i just bought a different version and i was fine,,, but the movie itself was amazing,, the animation was unbelievable, the songs were unforgettable,,,Its a classic

I have always enjoyed the film I watch it every Halloween & Christmas season It holds up The film has grown in status Now, I have a bone to pick on this. You can make a joke at my choice of words This film has been released MULTIPLE times now on DVD & blu ray And, twice on 3D blu ray What the? Example, the 1992 huge Disney hit, Oscar winning "Aladdin"was only released on DVD once. Disney completely missed 2012 for the 20th anniversary & their advertising material said it was to come out early in 2013 but did NOT A huge of a film "Aladdin" was & still no blu ray on this but Nightmare has been released how many times? Same extras on this as in previous releases which is another disappointment Good film, good music, just take a break Disney & Tim Burton on releasing this over & over again

Great movie. good for any season!!!!!!!! Disney always takes 3d to the max in this holiday classic. Remastered sound and picture is amazing and the 3D will bring out the kid in everyone. Happy Holidays
