i bought this to replace my Panasonic camera which was about 10 years old , it sucks , blurry picks , don't even think about taking pictures of any thing moving , you won't be able to tell what it is , to much money for such a junk camera , was told what a great camera it was , what a lot of bull that was , never get a Nikon again , don't waste your money

After only a couple of months using this new camera it is having trouble focussing, which is really aggravating since I need photos of my burned-down house . Half the photos I try to take don't "click". I'll be returning it when I return to SF after Xmas week. Sigh, not what I needed.

I was so excited to get a new camera to replace my Nikon s9700 Unfortunately on the second day of taking it out to learn the new features, it locked up while in zoom mode. Wouldn't turn off until I took the battery out. Took it back to Best Buy. No trouble with refund

Holding camera I hit movie mode unintentionally quite a lot. Camera opens on Wide angle. Lens doesnt always shut all the way when shut off so lens is exposed when put away. Not happy. Returned

This camera is horrible, it's performance on moving project photo is really bad, on low light photo is worst. Only day time photo is ok.

Camera lens doesn't work properly. Cuts off lower two corners of all landscape pix and entire bottom of all portrait pix. Had to edit every single photo taken on vacation to remove the black marks. Evidently the lens is not opening all the way... I have contacted Nikon and am in the process of returning for repair.

Bought it, charged it & used it for a few days at home. The transfer software wasn't very good, but the camera was functioning. 2nd day into a vacation, it just stopped working...nothing. Couldn't even get it serviced. I will be returning it. I purchased it so as to have a small convenient camera for travel...unfortunately, I left my larger Nikon & Canon cameras home, and this one was unusable.

It’s cool for the price but if your shooting video there’s no mic connection and sound is poor

Bought this camera for it's macro ability. Actually my smart phone takes better macro photos. Turn it on when it is humid outside and the interior lens fogs up and takes for ever to dry out.

The shutter button became inoperable after 150 pics and the pics it did take were no better than an old 12 Megapixel camera it replaced. Returned to BB.

    Very poor video

The video is very poor for 4k with a high contrast. Unlike the GoPro HERO 4k, shadows produce little to no detail and are rendered mostly black. The video itself suggests that it is internally a 1080p signal extrapolated up to 4k where the camera guesses 3/4 of the pixels rather than taking them directly off the CMOS. It was an easy decision to return the camera.
