Took it to the Bahamas and it worked flawlessly. The compass and depth feature are awesome and wifi transfer is easy.

If you purchase this camera be prepared to play with the settings when taking pictures. When using auto pictures turn out dark. very slow at taking pictures, therefore not good for action shots. In the water if there is water in the lense the pictures turn out spotty.

Bought this camera last year for my daughter and she really liked it. Bought the same one this year for my sister in law. Great for the price.

i got it cheap, great!! this 2nd one, it does not last long, a year maybe 2 then leaks water. it is great if you can get it for a low price

Went diving in Aruba it took good pics and then on third day at 90 feet inside display cracked

Every aspect of this camera works flawlessly so far, can't wait to used the underwater features.

The camera has limited number of features and thus overpriced for the performance. Greatest feature is under water capability.

Only draw backs small buttons and sometimes was little slow taking pictures. Really the only complaint is the buttons.

I really like the camera, just wished it used disposable batteries for when I spend several days on a river trip camping out

This is great for carrying around every day as a point and shoot. Reasonably quick and tough enough for general abuse.

The pictures are a bit fuzzy on the screen. Other than that its good.

This camera was not my first choice. I needed a camera for a trip to jamaica that was waterproof so I could use it for water activities, and this was the best I was able to find. I originally wanted a sony cybershot, they have a highly rated underwater camera that's got better MP than this nikon, and much less expensive. I paid 375 for it and hated it the instant i took it out of the box and turned it on. The buttons are incredibly stiff and hard to push, then you have to push really hard and accidentally hit the wrong buttons. I only saw an option for flash auto or no flash but no flash on. I didnt like the user interface and the way it charges. the battery stays in the camera and you use the tiny usb cable to plug into the camera to charge, so hope you have a power strip on a desk. Returned it. its not worth 375$

This is a great starter camera. Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she is very pleased with it.

I took this camera to the Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida with high hopes for some great photos both around the park and in the water. It worked great for photos around the fort and views for miles. However, the minute I took the camera to the water for our snorkeling, it was dead. The camera didn't even touch the water and it wouldn't do a thing. I took it back to the boat and tried to change batteries and recharge. Nope. nothing. I'm thankful that the photos I took made it back home, but I was so bummed to leave the island with no photos. I have returned the camera to best buy only to find out I can only get in store credit. for what? I already have a good camera. I was looking for a water camera and have no need for one now being from a landlocked state. thanks Nikon and best buy. :(

Bluetooth feature disengages too early sometimes. Haven't used in the camera in the ocean yet.

This camera takes stunning pictures and very nice video. Also a plus is the waterproof feature!
