Got this for travelling and to take pics during ultramarathons. Compared other waterproof cameras and settled on the AW30. Great size, compact. Takes great pics. Auto focus works well. Easy to transfer pics to your phone via Bluetooth. Very happy and satisfied with this.

I haven't yet figured out how to use the wifi feature or take successive photos when photographing movement, but despite my ignorance this has still been a great camera and I've captured some great pics! I take it on my boat and the waterproof feature is awesome.

So I used the previous model to this one very successfully over the past 3 years with trips to the Caribbean with my wife. I took underwater photos and video (with sound). Both turned out better than I have thought, now it would not replace a regular camera with a water-proof housing but for the price it does take nice/frameable/canvas-able pictures. The only drawback is when I jumped off the boat and into the water this past year, water was able to penetrate the battery/memory card compartment. I was still able to take photos but the LED screen was non-operable. So I purchased this one, which is the newest model. Battery/memory card compartment is the same design, so I will jump into the water then have my wife or someone else hand the camera down to me. I am pretty sure that it was the pressure of jumping into the water from 4-5ft that did in the camera.

This is a great camera with easy to use zoom, etc. Takes extremely clear and vivid pictures besides being waterproof. I would definitely recommend this camera to someone not looking to spend an arm and leg but wanting a very nice camera for the price!

This was purchased for a grandson in his 20's, who had just discovered the hobby of photography. He loves it; he has enjoyed learning about good shots without worrying about lens settings. That will come later. Great camera for an active young man.

Took on vacation. Used it on a dive as well as on the boat and beach. Great pictures.

I'm a fly fishing guide, its size is handy and best of all, it's water proof!

I like it as long as it doesn't leak like the last one did. It leaked at the beginning of a cruise and I had no underwater camera the rest of the cruise and I missed some beautiful pictures of fish and coral.

Had Nikon in past and upgraded for higher display, 12 to 16 meg. Old one still works fine. One star off, because display is hard to see in bright sunlight. Cannot comment on the photo software use. Nicer and bigger 20 meg cameras for same price range or less are out there, but not pocket size like this one. Compact was my main interest, with no retractable lenses.

Bought this for our daughter and she took it with her on a recent dive trip. She really liked the camera and once she figured out the wifi part was thrilled with it-pictures were crisp and higher quality than her friend's GoPro.

Very nice camera that I got while it was on sale. I got it because it was waterproof and could take decent pictures. If you don't care for the waterproof capability, then there are better cameras out there than this.

I purchased the Nikon for a diving trip since it had the deepest range of any other basic camera not specifically made for diving. The camera worked great. It was easy to use and pictures and video were of good quality.
