I wanted something that was for primarily taking pictures. I have a few GoPro's that I love but I wanted something a little more traditional. This fit the bill. It's simple enough to use. I like the phone app feature. The app could be improved a little but all in all the picture quality is there and the ruggedness is what I wanted... waterproof and a few other proofs that you wouldn't want to use your phone in the 'what if' event.

This camera was purchased for two trips, Abalone diving in Northern California & a Grand Canyon rafting trip down the Colorado River. It worked perfect for both trips and took great pictures both above and below the waters surface. Easy to use, fits in your pocket, has features I haven't even tried yet. I would recommend this point & shoot camera to anyone.

The camera is a good value for the money. I wanted it because the model stated it was waterproof.

Outstanding camera for someone that is active and risks getting it wet or wants underwater pictures.

Great small compact camera to take in our jeep to the beach instead of always taking my large camera..

This is a good waterproof camera. Although, I'd suggest looking at the GoPro options, too.

great pics on vacation but not so good for everything else only good in bright weather

We enjoyed our first use of this camera on a recent Ski Trip - it took some great pictures.

Even linking to smartphone app was fast and easy. Great in low light places. Long battery life

We took a trip to an indoor water park and wanted to be able to leave our phones in the in-room safe. It was nice to have something which was safe to have in the water. The fact that you are able to share photos wirelessly was awesome and super easy to use and allowed us to share photos before we got home. My only complaint (and this may be user error) was some of the action shots came out blurry.
