This camera takes wonderful pictures. The zoom is really good. I took pictures of the sun rising at the beach, and was able to zoom right on the sun. Easy to use, the tilt screen helps with framing those angled shots. I was able to connect the Snap Bridge app to my android phone, and the pictures uploaded just fine while I was shooting and afterward. I mostly do landscape photos and this camera does well with all time of the day and even low light night photos. Able to capture great action shots as well. This is my fifth Nikon, and I love it.

I like the feel of this camera, it is easy to use and not too heavy. I am a beginner & it works well for my needs. The pictures have been coming out clear.

I am a professional photographer and bought this for my granddaughters 13 birthday as she wants to start getting into photography ( imagine my excitement as I have never really even shared much with her on this matter) so me being a huge fan of both Nikon and Best Buy I chose this as her beginner camera. The only thing I was really disappointed in is she had her national honor roll society ceremony to be at and so I took it with me to shoot with and as I was sitting on bleachers not really far off to shoot the photo when she got her awards and it not only couldn't focus it wouldn't adjust to the room I tried to put it on auto,manual flash everything and it just didn't get the pic. but for outside well lite room its a ok.

Bought this for my son. He loves it. Takes great pictures and very easy to use. Pictures are downloaded straight to his phone. Lightweight camera if your holding it for awhile. Good choice.

Pretty good camera. Battery dies fast. I think it is easier to just use my phone.

I really haven't had much time to use this camera yet, but I like it so far. I had an older Nikon Coolpix and a lot of the knobs and settings are the same, so that makes me feel more comfortable. But I still have to keep going to the camera's book. The pictures I've taken so far are really clear. I like the new design for the hand hold. I like that it works on batteries so you don't have to charge it first, but I don't like that the SD card is in the area with the batteries, and they have a cover you have to open to get to them. I guess I'll have to load the program that sends your pictures straight to your computer so I can avoid opening that sliding door and have it break on me. I have photoshop and wanted to avoid loading another program, but I will. The sliding door does not seem like something you want to keep opening. If I turn out liking this Coolpix as much as my old one, that will be great. The only reason I got a new camera was because my family complained that my old camera's shutter took too long, and they had to keep standing there.

I love my camera! It takes really great pictures. I like that I am able to put the pictures on my phone.

Well I cannot claim to be a master photographer so I cannot give any technical advise on this camera. What I can say is that it is easy to use but if you want to get creative with your picture taking then make sure that you read your booklet so that you place the settings to accomplish what you want. I recently took my camera with me on vacation and I learned a few tricks that produced some very nice photo shots. I am looking forward to mastering the use of this camera but basically you need to just go for it and try different things with it. I am very happy with this camera! Has inspired to take better pictures.

Wanted an easy to use small camera that would take great pictures. This one does that. Like that it uses AA batteries so do not have another charger cord to keep track of.

My husband bought this camera for me for Valentine's Day. I love the color, the screen and it takes awesome pictures! Always wanted a Nikon and now I do!

I bought this camera for an upcoming vacation - my Nikon is large and heavy and cumbersome. So far this tiny thing fits my hand great and does a good, fast job. I'm still learning how to do this or that on it but the quality of the photos I get back is outstanding. This is a great little camera for first timers that may or may not want to upgrade later. I got the purple one, it's very pretty.

I bought this as a walkaround camera for when I don't want to carry the heavy DSLR and all those lenses. So far, it's been a nice, solid little camera. It's lightweight, takes clear, sharp photos, is simple to use, and has an amazing zoom. The only improvement would be if it had a viewfinder, but they seem to be putting those only on the DSLR cameras these days. Being able to brace the camera against my face, like I do with my DSLR, would make it easier for this shaky-handed old lady to get crisper shots. But overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, fun camera with a great zoom that takes excellent photos.

This is a great camera. I use it for progress photos and video tutoials and everything turns out great. I really like all the features and it was very affordable.

I purchased this camera mainly because I was interested in taking landscape photos. I was pleasantly surprised with how many options it has! It's easy to figure out, so it is perfect for beginners. I would definitely recommend this product!

I like it. Its small and takes really nice pictures. Fairly easy to use controls and the batteries and SD card are easy to get to.

The camera is able to take very nice pictures. One of the stand outs to get this as opposed to using your phone is the zoom, zoom on phones still distort images and this allows a great, professional looking zoom. I also use it for vlogging and love it.

Excellent camera for one who wants to be able to point and click. But with so many other features like a 40x optical zoom, and preselected settings you can use for different types of shots it also could be a favorite for one with more than basic camera knowledge. We are on a cross country trip and found it to be perfect for the variety of photos we wanted, all the way from mountains covered with snow to Utah and the National Parks and then for closeups of a cactus blooming. It is also light weight to carry. I would absolutely recommend it.
