very nice low end zoom point and shoot. its nice for the size and price. great camera for when you need a camera with zoom, and if you broke it, you are not out a lot. great for the boat, and hiking, where a a high end camera could get broken, take this, you you be happy you did.

Great camera. Easy to use, takes nice pictures. Was on a road trip when my other camera stopped working. Was impressed with the quality.

The camera takes great pictures and is relatively easy to operate. You can pretty much use it as s point and shoot if you want.

My girlfriend wanted a new camera for a while now. Her birthday was coming up and she was going on a trip to New York so it was a perfect time to buy her one. As soon as she saw it at Best Buy she fell in love and I surprised her on her Bday, The color is vibrant and gives a sleek look while still looking professional. She is new to the photography scene but she says this one makes her feel like she's a pro. You can move the screen around so that you can take video without holding the camera up. You can have it around your waist area and be able to see what youre filming while looking down at the screen. I highly recommend it.

I love this camera. Let me say it again: I love this camera! It is not only beautiful to look at, but it is so darn easy to use. I set my WB to Auto and my ISO to 125. Next, I make sure to wait for beautiful light and then I point and shoot. The result: Absolutely sharp, stunning images that I can be proud of. I subtracted one star, because the battery compartment hinge is made of plastic, not metal. Nikon you are better than this! And this camera deserves better than plastic hinges.

Bought this camera before we went on vacation and absolutely love it. Easy to use and takes great pictures.

We didn't want to spend to much on a new camera since we are retired and have a limited income. Looked at several models and this one won. Nice clear sharp photos, easy to operate and light weight. My wife likes it so much she carries it everywhere. Don't have to worry about carrying extra lens. Great little camera.

Bought it for my daughters bday. Came in her favorite color. She took it on her trip to Japan. The pictures and video she took were beautiful. She says it’s easy to use and using it with the app was very easy for her. Says it’s the best gift ever. She is really loving it. As far as I know she has had no issues with it. Battery life is good. I played with it a little and was really impressed with the zoom. Really clear pictures when zoomed in.

Bought it to replace older model i had previously. The Coolpix is easy to use and takes nice pictures.

I love this camera. It will take great pictures, plus the ability to transfer via bluetooth is great.

First thing that caught my eye was the fact that it is purple. I had the Nikon cool pix l340 and wanted to update. The b500 is a good update. Only issue I have the the turn up n speed and the fact that I can’t transfer pics using a transfer cord to my phone cause my phone says it takes too much power. But it is a good camera. Still playing with it and gettin used to it. It is a little heavier so that takes a minute to get used to.

I was going to Ireland and needed a camera in a hurry. I looked at Canon, Sony and Nikon. This Nikon had the best features and was a good price and size. It was user friendly and great on the trip. I love the way photos upload from it on WiFi - I think it’s WiFi - to my computer.

Took it on a family trip to Canada. The pictures are amazing. The camera is very easy to use.

The zoom is nice on this model,easy to use and lightweight. The pictures I have taken so far are crisp and clear with just the auto setting.For the price range a very nice camera.A better battery system would have been nice even if it added to the price.

I could have easily given 5 stars for picture quality and ease of use. The only complaint is the power button being pushed while in camera bag. Draining the AA batteries. Luckily I caught it before I headed out to take pics. It needs a time out power feature to prevent this. Otherwise, I love it.
