I have always wanted a camera like this and for a beginner like me this is good

So far this camera has been wonderful for my teen granddaughter.

Daughter wanted something to start with. This is just perfect.

I purchased this camera to film my workouts for my clients who train virtually with me, and to take photos for my fitness pages (I'm a personal trainer). I had been using my iPhone camera but I needed an alternative to free up storage on my phone and synced devices, and I also just wanted a decent camera for travel purposes. After reading the reviews (which were mostly positive), I decided to go with the Coolpix B600. The max video recording time is only 29 minutes which is plenty, but the quality is absolutely horrible. I have tried different settings, adjustments, lighting, etc., and the videos are blurry, dark and hard to capture stills from. The only decent quality PICTURE I can take is when the flash is on and the camera is in a specific mode (don't know which one exactly). Taking a picture with AUTO setting? Forget it. I'm going to keep it just to have a camera around and to avoid the hassle of returning it, but I regret buying this model. I don't need anything fancy for what I'm trying to do, but for a Nikon product, the quality is completely unimpressive. Additionally, the feature to connect the camera to your mobile device via the SnapBridge app is useless. I have no problem syncing the camera to my phone, but I cannot download ANY videos once the media has been transferred into the app's library for you to download onto your phone. I ended up purchasing a card reader for the SD card (bought separately) to hook into my MacBook so I can view my videos that way. Since purchasing this camera I have not been able to use ANY footage for my fitness training business. I have plenty of editing applications and even that doesn't help. I'm sure the first flip phone with a camera would take better photo and video than this camera. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on a quality camera. This one isn't it.

I bought this camera to replace my old Canon, and... what a mistake that was! I actually bought it right before my trip to New Orleans, so I was excited to try my new camera and take great pictures. And I did take a lot of pictures. But when I uploaded them to my computer, I couldn't believe my eyes - most of my pictures were of really poor quality as if I'd taken them with a tiny pocket camera. I took a few more shots at home just trying different features, but I was still very disappointed So finally I went back to Best Buy and returned this Nikon camera.

I've always bought Canon cameras, and I wish I did this time also. The picture quality just cannot be compared. I use a Canon SX710HS and I bought this camera because of the better zoom. I don't even use it because it doesn't even come close to the quality. I would return it if I could but I waited too long

My iPhone 12 Pro takes better pictures. Spend some more money and opt for a better camera.

Tried this camera and it took nice photos but it wasn’t what I was looking for so I returned it without any issues.

When it worked, that 1 hour, it was great. -While out taking pictures, it just went blank, with a full battery. It never came back on. A new out of the box camera just failed.

Shut down on me for no reason and wouldnt stay on for entire battery life.

I have a problem using the smart card no mater what I do I get a message and stops me from taking a photo. It’s states it’s write protected or something like that . I looked on line and did as suggested to corrected but still have the same issue. I took the smart card and used it with my Nikon 3500 and it worked fine . I really can’t rate the camera if I have not used it but had to assess in order to submit review

Very poor usability - Completely disappointed every other picture is blurry, the autofocus is junk, the autoflash is useless, the zoom is useless. A very poor camera for the money, a waste of money that is as this will be going in the garbage. Last Nikon I will ever buy.

The seller give me the wrong camera so we return that

It did NOT come with ANY instructions.......you have to down load them, which I cannot do..........so I have a camera that I can NOT work!

Having to return this item that was a gift. The internal battery charger does not charge the battery.

Nice camera. Still learning all the functions. Looking forward to take some wildlife pics.

I recently purchased this camera. I have only had the opportunity to use it a couple of times, but I love the quality of pictures & ease of using it. Would recommend it.
