pictures are good quality, but not very sharp. good for casual, but not professional photography

Camera is great for weekend outings when I don't want to bring my D7200 along. Awesome pictures easy to retrieve. Have not used the Wi-Fi yet.

it has taken nice pictures so far. has a great zoom for the objects that are farther away.

I purchased this as a first camera for my daughter. She loves it and has so far enjoyed learning and experimenting with the camera. It is very easy to use and a good value for the money.

Replaced earlier generation of this Nikon and really like the quality of photos it takes and love the wifi sharing function

We wanted a camera for both taking pictures and recording video. Very happy with our decision in purchasing this one! Batteries didn't seem to last long, but that is the only downfall.

This camera takes great portraits and I love it for closeup nature photos. It fits great in the hand. I've used this camera multiple times as a video camera for school programs. I'm always surprised how far I can zoom, how steady it shoots and how clear the sound is. Very nice camera and(call me nostalgic) but it's good to get away from just using my cell phone camera all the time.

Good camera for older people or beginners. Easy to use, especially after taking the class at Best Buy ! Very happy with my camera .

This camera falls somewhere in-between a point and shoot and a DSLR leaning toward the point and shoot side. It doesn't have all the functionality or flexibility of a DSLR, but takes better pictures than a compact point and shoot. Resolution is high and its super fast compared to the cameras I'm used too. You can't drop it in your pocket like a compact point and shoot, so if you need something to take skiing this would be a little bulky. But if the bulk doesn't matter this is a good value for the money. On sale it didn't cost much. We've had it for less than a week, so far so good.
