Bought mainly because I wanted a smaller size camera without the bulk, I didn't want to carry an extra case and lenses. Can easily fit into coat pocket or purse. I needed a large zoom I use for sports photos in gyms and rinks. works well. Several settings to choose from, first Nikon I bought and happy with it so far.

Got this camera to use for pictures and video. It took some research and extra software to do what I wanted with the video, but the quality I expected is there. The flash looks a bit weak, but it seems to work and it does help in certain conditions. Overall this camera seems to fit my needs for a good price.

I love Nikon products. I bought this camera because I was on a trip and didn't want to take my more expensive cameras with me on vacation. This product works well and is versatile. It covers the needs for the casual traveler. However, it does have some of the bells and whistles associated with my other Nikons.

I am impressed with the new features above my previous cameras. Easy to use and great quality camera. Most important, the photos are top quality. I do a lot of field photography as a consulting agronomics. Easy to carry and use. Great for colse-up and for telephoto shots...and Fitts in your pocket!!

My daughter wanted this camera for concerts. It has excellent zoom. The color on the photos is also wonderful.

Great Camera! Love the vari-angle LCD; however, I was disappointed that Nikon chose to omit a raw format. Why have PSAM modes without raw? Also, the placement of the wireless button is awkward. I am always inadvertently pushing it with my thumb. This causes you to push the "OK" button to cancel.

this camera takes beautiful pics. the zoom is my favorite feature.
