bought the camera for my girlfriend for her birthday! nice camera she loves the fact that it takes great pictures easy to use and the sport mode with 4 pictures per second really help capture kids at play

I shopped around for a while before settling on this camera package. I purchased it as a gift for my 18 yr old cousin, who has aspirations of majoring in photography at SCAD (Savannah School of Art and Design). She could never afford tuition given her financial circumstances, but if her portfolio is good enough she could qualify for a scholarship. I bought this camera for her as a tool to use in getting the future that she wants. The first photos she took were absolutely amazing. I've never owned a camera this nice before, settling instead for point & shoot cameras. But this thing is a powerhouse. The auto-focus is awesome, especially when she's trying to take a close-up macro shot, like of a flower. The camera has the standard USB, but it also has HDMI output. Video capture has been excellent. Took it down to the beach and the mic wasn't affected by the wind. If I had tried that with my point & shoot, all I would have heard was wind noise, instead of the sound of the waves crashing. Instead, the sound with this camera was excellent. I also purchased her a 105mm manual focus Macro lens to use with this camera. I'm actually tempted to go back and buy one for myself, given how easy it is to use & the great photos it takes.

I think this camera is perfect for someone who wants an easy to use camera that will take great pictures. It's very easy to use and the photos will be excellent especially if you are wanting larger sizes.

Bought this camera and an inbetween lense for my son for his study abroad (so he wouldn't have to keep changing lenses). It's been AWESOME! Easy to use/learn and amazing pictures in all light levels. He's never had a camera before & he's taking great shots!

It really is a great camera. I got it and instantly fell in love with it! A lot of great features, easy to learn, durable, and it's great for beginners and pros. Great video as well! Has a 3.5mm external mic input jack for stereo sound. 24.4 megapixels, great resolution and full HD video. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Great price for entry level dslr. Have been extremely satisfied with camera. Bought this over the d5200 and was able to get extra lense 55-300mm for same price i would have paid for d5200 alone.

I bought this camera for the kick off of my photography business. It is a very easy camera to use, for those who know a lot about cameras. If you do not know that much, it is very simple to learn how to use it. The camera itself comes with features that will teach the user what each feature does. It also sounds a bit nerdy, but I really enjoy hearing the shutter sounds when it takes a picture.

This is my first SLR camera since the 35mm days, and didn't want to spend a ton to get into having a digital version. This fits the bill...the megapixels will make some pro photographers green with envy. Takes great pictures and is really easy to set up!

I would reccomend this camera to anyone first getting into DSLR cameras. I find it to be user friendly and the pictures are great. I would suggest getting another lense for sporting events.

I had a very old Nikon camera that lasted for 40 plus years . I am hoping this Nikon lasts as long as my old one. Very durable high quality pictures. Easy to use , little pricy but worth it if it lasts as long as my other one . Time will tell.

Got this for almost half price which made it all the better.

Purchased this camera for my wife so that she could capture those moments of our 1-year-old's life that go by so quickly. So far it hasn't disappointed us. Very easy to use, with above average picture quality. Certainly worth the price.

I am new to SLR cameras but find this camera user friendly. I also like the fact that I can use an adapter so my photo immediately appears on my iPhone. Picture quality is great.

Great camera for a beginner like me & priced right for a guy just getting into photography. The additional lenses were priced good as well. I am going to learn a lot from this camera and move up to the next level in a couple years.
