I am not a highly skilled photographer but I wanted something to make videos and pictures. This camera has an easy format mode to allow you to take pictures based on certain situations making it a simple click and shoot type. So for me it's great!

This is our first DSLR camera and we are totally impressed with the quality upgrade compared to our point and shoot camera. Great for capturing clear photos of the kids in action. Yes it's larger than our point and shoot but the quality pictures we can now take will quickly make up for that.

I love the pictures I am able to take with this camera! I have to boys in highschool football and the sport shots are great. Also, my daughter who is becoming a professional makeup artist has been able to create a beautiful portfolio!

Just love the sharp, chrisp, pictures I get from this camera! My brother takes pictures for a town newspaper and recommended I purchase this camera for the ease of picture taking in different lighting situations. I've been to cheer leading events where there's alot of movement and this camera, set to the sports mode, catches it clean and clear!! Clearly a true best buy!

This is a great camera for the price. The overall useability is great. The only negative I have found so far is the lens that comes with the camera tends to bow images when used at either end of the range.

I have enjoyed my camera so far. The ruby red color body is awesome! It has taken beautiful photos! I love that I could try it out and if I didn't like it I could return it without losing money.

I've wanted a SLR for a while now. I finally decided to splurge and buy one. I did my research, went to best buy and talked with a few of the workers and they suggested the same camera I researched. I'm glad I bought this camera. I don't plan on getting into serious photography so this camera is way more then enough for me. Awesome camera and great photos

I really love this camera... even though it's my first and I can't really compare it to much, but my uncle is extremely knowledgeable with cameras and believes that I got a great camera at a great price (especially for my first camera). Only issue I have (which isn't even that much of an issue), when taking photos... you have to slightly hold down the button to focus lens right before you take the picture then push the button all the way down. I've noticed on other camera's that this "half push" is not necessary. Other than that I love it.

After reviewing several cameras I decided to go with this one to get back into photography. Since it has been over 15 years since I picked up a good camera I am happy that this one will walk me through most of the step and give me easily understandable instruction for each feature.

love the picture quality and how easy it is to work on it, if you love taking pictures, this is the camera you want to have i really recommend it.

Easy to use without taking classes and takes wonderful picture.

This is my first DSLR camera. I previously owned Canon but just switched to the Nikon D3200: the reason was the 24MP image is superior to any other entry level DSLR's. Quite simply, it will be a long time before I find the need to upgrade this camera. The downside; it will be a while before I'm an expert with this camera as well. Highly recommended

This camera was purchased as a gift for grandson and he loves it. In fact, I am seriously considering purchasing another for myself.

The Nikon D3200 is a fantastic beginner's SLR capable of high quality shots, especially given its price. It shares many great traits with other models in its line, but leaves enough justification for looking at the D5200 or even higher if you find a true passion for photography.

I bought this for my Fiance as a wedding present. He is in love with that camera! He hasn't had a single complaint about it yet. Takes it everywhere he goes. It's light and portable but has everything a professional needs on the go. The features are great for intermediate work.

I take excellent breath taking views for artistic projects and other unexpected moments. Cell phones are limited and a substitute. They still need top quality camera. I want to capture quality and this camera delivers.

This is my first DSLR so I am no expert, but so far the camera works great. Trying to learn to get off the auto setting is a little daunting on your own but part of owning any DSLR. I am very impressed with this camera so far, no need to upgrade to 5000 or 7000 series for extra buttons, and will be investing my money in upgrading lenses
