for a beginner, this camera is awsome, and recording video is perfect

I have had a lot of cameras and this one is by far the best one. You can really see every detail in every picture. I do not see anything wrong with with this camera and would recommend this for anyone. I give this camera 2 thumbs up very easy to learn.

Getting back into serious photography and this setup is a great way to do it. Has incredible features. Too bad polarizing filters can't be used with the metering system - was my favorite filter.

Great camera for a beginning photographer, but offers many more features that comparable cameras do not have! It is a camera that can still be use as the skills of the photographer improve. Very sturdy, and stands up over time through intense use.

it took me a few sessions to get used to the features and the software. now that iv'e got the hang of it, wow, what beautiful pictures. have to spend a bit of time editing them to really get the best out of the pictures but it's worth it!!

Overall, very pleased with this camera. The pictures are great, timer function is easy to manage, and the camera is fast, making action shots much easier. Just be certain to read the manual.

I took many photos over the holiday season. This camera was a great investment because nearly every photo came out crystal clear. Additionally, the mega-pixels are a plus. I printed numerous blown-up photos, and each picture was breath-taking.

I got this camera a while ago and I am extremely satisfied with it.

We took this camera on a vacation to Maine for the changing of the leaves and it took wonderful pictures. I bought this as a birthday gift for a really wonderful person as she loves taking photos and has a really great eye with just a regular point and shoot. The photos came out amazing and even the ones I took (I do not have a good eye, much less a great one) came out great.

This camera can help anyone produce professional looking photographs - even beginners. The guide menu makes choosing the correct settings a breeze.

I have this and a Pentax DSLR, and though the Pentax is easier the picture quality from the Nikon is great. The extra lens and a good flash are essential, but this is a great camera.

I really like my new camera. Ir is esay to use.It can be used as baoth a still camera and a video camera. It has instructional videos which made it easy to use. i really like my camera

If you are a beginner (like me) this is a great buy. I go back and forth between automatic and actually manually adjusting the lenses my self. It's a learning process and way different that a regular point and shoot camera. The photos are amazing though and the 24 megapixels are crystal clear.

The Nikon D3200 is a great camera for the price. Its easy to use, but still has all the capabilities of a more difficult or expensive camera.
