This being the 1st DSLR and coming from nothing but point and shoot cameras was a little intimidating at first but once I did some research and understood the actual settings I am very pleased with the camera. The 18-55mm lens that is the "standard" lens is pretty nice. I get great pics and I can't wait to get more lens in the line up as I have seen with my friend's D5100 and his new lens, the pics are amazing!
