Great Family Camera

Easy to use with many picture "style" options. Sometimes hard to get a really good picture when movement is going on, but the press and hold for action shots works well for this. Great camera package!

The old lenses I already own, which were originally for film bodies, now work with digital bodies. They are loyal to me so I am loyal to them.

Very simple camera to operate and understand

But that was quickly put to rest as soon as I got started. Even before reading any of the literature or viewing the included instructional DVD, I found the camera operation to be very intuitive ... much to my surprise and delight! The camera's capabilities have actually inspired me to begin to consider this as a hobby. I can't speak to the competition in this camera's marketplace, but I can safely suggest that this is a fine purchase and will likely be well worth the price.
