Entry level SLR from Nikon with advanced photos

The body is light and compact. Perhaps one on the best deals around. for family, travel, and sports photos. For expeditions and advanced photo techniques, likely not the best choice.

Very nice camera for step up from point and shoot

I will, however, have to purchase another long distance lens to capture close up shots of granddaughters at basketball and soccer games. This doesn't zoom as close as I expected. Sometimes the pics are not as clear as I expected, but that could be my lack of experience.

Great camera for my daughter

She already had lenses that are compatible with this camera, and it has video capability. Great camea for the money if you want more than point and shoot

I like the upgrade options like wireless transfer.... Usually that option is only available on super high end rigs....

The best feature is to purchase the wifi adapter to connect to your phone or table, see the pictures instantly and upload, but even better take the pictures with the phone or table.
