Almost bought the Canon T3i until this was announced. 24 mega pixels, auto focus in video mode, and the built in tutorials had me pick the Nikon 3200. I'm very happy with the purchase for the same reasons. The whole family has used it the past month with great results. I've also used it with iPhoto. I can't say enough about the quality of the pictures from the camera combined with the organization/ease of use of the software.

I did. Ton of research on this before buying. I talked to Canon, Nikon and Sony DSLR owners. Some are professional, some not. What I have come to find out that there is no perfect camera but there are some great ones. Plus it's all based on what you can afford, learn to use and fits into your lifestyle. I chose the D3200 because of the features to price ratio. Even the new Canon 4ti can't touch it. I have learned a lot by talking to people after the purchase and on youtube. I am very happy with the purchase and BestBuy did a great job packaging a deal for me. Love this camera!

My Husband and I purchased our first DSLR camera to capture the precious moments of our growing family and I couldn't be more pleased with the great features associated with our camera not to mention the 24 Megapixels.

I received this camera for Christmas from my husband. I have had a bridge camera for many years and was ready to move up into the DSLR category. I have definitely only begun to scratch the surface of what this camera can do. I love it! My photos of my kids look amazing! I cannot wait until the weather gets a little warmer so I can really see what it can do in outdoor lighting. Very good quality pictures. I am looking forward to getting a prime lens, as I love how pictures look when taken with one.

I just purchased my new D3200 in Dec 2012 and within three weeks thereafter of using my camera, the flash stopped working. I contacted NIKON and was instructed to ship my camera to their factory for repair as it was still under warranty. I was told that I would be responsible for all shipping costs to NIKON and they will only cover the freight cost when shipping back to me. I live in the Bahamas and shipping costs to send and received this camera was about $150. I feel that once its determined to be a factory glitch then all costs should be covered by NIKON.

Great product for the price, brilliant performance, for a beginner DSLR family it is one of the best with plenty of options to choose from. Before using Manual mode, make sure to watch youtube videos regarding aperture, ISO and shutter speed. It will help a lot to impress your friends ;) Good Luck

The guide mode is amazing to help learn how to use the camera. Plus it has a lot of regular functions you can use it as a point and shoot at first then switch to using manual. I would highly recommend this camera an an entry-level camera to anyone who wants to learn more about photograph.

This is my first DSLR. As expected, the picture quality is much better than that of my previous Nikon compact digital camera. We bought it before our vacation trip to Japan, because the price was cheaper here in the U.S. than that in Japan.

This camera is an exceptional buy! So many features! We're still using the on-board tutorial to get up to speed with it. Wi-fi, 24 mega-pixels; it has everything most people would want in a digital SLR, and then some!

I have always been a point and shoot photographer. For Mother's Day, I received this camera and I am super pleased thus far. The clarity of the pictures is remarkable. I have a busy two year old and have been snapping away at him and my great nephew. I can't wait to do an outside photo shoot with him. The guide mode is user friendly. I still have a ton to learn regarding all of the features and will probably invest in another lens in the future. For now I am thoroughly enjoying my new "toy". I would definitely recommend this camera.

Just getting into photography and this camera caught my attention b/c of its price and megapixel rating compared to other models/manufacturers. Its simple enough to use and allows the user to learn at one's own speed. I'm still learning but I really love this camera.
