Great camera for the price, always wanted a red camera.

I loved photography when I was in high school but life got in the way of my hobbies. Kids are grown now so I decided I would have some fun. I love the camera it is a challenge for me to learn new electronics but I have been doing good so far. I have taken some great photos and the camera pretty much works on its own when your in Auto Mode. So just pic it up and shoot away I'm having fun with mine

I shopped around for a while before settling on this camera package. I purchased it as a gift for my 18 yr old cousin, who has aspirations of majoring in photography at SCAD (Savannah School of Art and Design). She could never afford tuition given her financial circumstances, but if her portfolio is good enough she could qualify for a scholarship. I bought this camera for her as a tool to use in getting the future that she wants. The first photos she took were absolutely amazing. I've never owned a camera this nice before, settling instead for point & shoot cameras. But this thing is a powerhouse. The auto-focus is awesome, especially when she's trying to take a close-up macro shot, like of a flower. The camera has the standard USB, but it also has HDMI output. Video capture has been excellent. Took it down to the beach and the mic wasn't affected by the wind. If I had tried that with my point & shoot, all I would have heard was wind noise, instead of the sound of the waves crashing. Instead, the sound with this camera was excellent. I also purchased her a 105mm manual focus Macro lens to use with this camera. I'm actually tempted to go back and buy one for myself, given how easy it is to use & the great photos it takes.

I am new to SLR cameras but find this camera user friendly. I also like the fact that I can use an adapter so my photo immediately appears on my iPhone. Picture quality is great.

I love this camera! I tried out 3 different cameras before settling on this one. I love how easy it is to use, the picture quality and the ease of downloading my pictures.

I bought this camera to use for my blog. It was very easy to use considering I am a novice when it comes to photography. I got the red just for fun and absolutely love it. Even on the auto setting it provides gorgeous photos.

I took my camera on vacation shortly after receiving it. Most of the pictures came out pretty good. I was in Vegas, Grand Canyon and The Hoover Dam. I'm not an expert on all of the settings so I left it on auto. Probably not the best option but like i said, I'm no expert. I look forward to signing up for a class or doing some more research to get familiar with all of the functions. I didn't have time to do this before I left. Overall I think this is a great camera and good buy.

I like the ease of use for the quality pictures the camera produces. I hope to upgrade to the 5200 in a few years.

I've wanted a SLR for a while now. I finally decided to splurge and buy one. I did my research, went to best buy and talked with a few of the workers and they suggested the same camera I researched. I'm glad I bought this camera. I don't plan on getting into serious photography so this camera is way more then enough for me. Awesome camera and great photos

I love the fact that it comes in red and that the megapixels are twice the size of the D3100. I like that it doesn't freeze on me when using it and it is fast and efficient.

The camera was a Christmas gift, and thus far, is functioning well. My hope is that it will continue to do so.

If you just want to point & shoot this is a great camera. However, you can get into the more complicated details it will be an amazing camer for the price and you can't beat the sexy red!!!

Great camera for scenery and people and great for holidays and special occasions

Overall it is a good camera. sometimes it will not autofocus or allow you to manually focus when you are too close to a subject, but overall it is a great camera. It would be nice if the anti-vibration technology were in the camera instead of the lens though.

This is our second Nikon DSLR. First one was a D40 and we loved it. These seem simple enough for a novice user, but there are many settings to take improved photos if you want to work at it,

This camera can help anyone produce professional looking photographs - even beginners. The guide menu makes choosing the correct settings a breeze.

The Nikon D3200 is a great camera for the price. Its easy to use, but still has all the capabilities of a more difficult or expensive camera.
