Customers praise the D3300 DSLR Camera's exceptional image quality and ease of use, frequently citing its lightweight design and good value for the price. Many appreciate the camera's features and convenient size. A common criticism, however, centers on the lack of built-in Wi-Fi.

having started with the Nikon point and shoot cameras and then going to the d3100 and shooting over 105,000 pictures with it I was impressed with Nikon. after dropping my d3100 from 5 feet onto concrete the camera failed. I went right out and bought the Nikon d3200.
this camera I still use and already has 70,000 pictures on it still works fine and very reliable. I am branching into HD video with the Nikon family of lower end dslr's . so the d3300 package deal with 2 lens combo was a no brainer I looked hard and long at the d5200 and the spec's on it were almost identical to the d3300 . so that is what I purchased. I do not regret it at all there is one slight drawback on the 3300 compared to the 3200 and that is when you switch to live view mode the 3300 takes about a second to actually switch whereas the 3200 is almost instantaneous .
other than that I love it.
I am still learning some of the features of the 3300 and am very satisfied with its performance.
I am a professional photographer of auto dealership vehicles.
so I take easily a thousand pictures in a day and on the highest pixel setting. the battery's in all the camera's mentioned work great even after a years hard use. I also am a avid hobby photographer and love to take time-lapse shots which involve over a thousand pictures in about a three hour period both day and night. the Nikon's ability to handle these is great. the ability to set the exposures aperture's etc. is easy and painless. I am loving the Wi-Fi feature on the d3300 which with the adapter works great for sending your pictures to your laptop or smartphone as well as being able to activate the shutter remotely from your smartphone. in my case with my camera crane jib is invaluable.
best buy has made it so easy to order online and simply walk in the store and pick it up no having to locate the camera get a salesman to help you etc. I highly recommend the Nikon line of dslr's and best buy .

Initially, I was attracted to this camera because of the cost and the two included lenses. The D3300 also has a pretty decent video recording function. I took several videos while I was in the Canyonlands in Utah — including while my group was off-roading through rocky terrain — and the footage came out great: no skips and the audio performed well, too. My photos came out great as well, though I found I used the 18 to 55 mm lens more than the 55 to 200 mm lens.
The body and included lenses of this camera are smaller and more lightweight than most cameras, which was a huge plus for me, because I was looking for an easy to transport camera that's not a burden to hike with.
Overall, I'd recommend this camera to a budding photographer who wants a decent amount of options to play with. I'd also recommend this to any folks who are looking for an incredibly portable DSLR to take on hikes.

This is my first DSLR camera and I LOVE IT! The overall design is very ergonomically-engineered. All the controls and buttons are easy to operate. Very user-friendly especially for beginners. Pretty cool stuff although I'd really appreciate it if they integrated the Wi-fi in it or made the screen flippable like what they did on D5300. Nonetheless, awesome device! Good deal for a bundle kit! Definitely recommended! I'm going to try this out for a couple of weeks, maybe months, and if it works out, I'm going pro. :-D

I was using my iPod and iPad to take pictures, but they just weren't a camera. I read a few reviews and decided to get the Nikon D3300 and it was the best decision I made. I think for the price I got a really good deal. The pictures are sharp and crisp. I love all the options available. I'm still exploring the effects options on my shots. Awesome camera!

We purchased this camera for my daughter who is in high school. She had taken two years of photography and quite frankly she has a very good eye for the art. She has been snapping pictures non-stop since she got her new Nikon.
She loves it for a number of reasons including ease of operation, special effects, and the wonderful results she has been able to achieve within a short period of time. Great camera at an even better price!

It has been 30 years since I last owned and SLR camera. My camera then as a 35mm SLR and I enjoyed it very much, and rued the day I had to sell it to pay some bills. Now, 30 years later, I have been able to take up my hobby again and after much research, chose the Nikon D3300 as the best choice for me and it has proven to be the perfect camera for me. Within days I was taking some of the best photographs I have ever taken.
I have included a photo taken during the first week I had the camera.

I learned how to shoot with an SLR during art class in school (back in the days when you also learned how to develop your own film). Since then, I've only used point and shoot cameras. The P&S and smartphones of today deliver stunning images compared to those of 10 years ago. However, part of me was itching to get a more serious camera. Ironically, my sister felt the same way last year and picked up a DSLR herself.
I started shopping around and it just happened that Best Buy was having a sale on the Nikon D3300 package. It had everything I was looking for, and the camera got great reviews. I've used it for a couple of weeks now for both nature and sports photography. I have tons to learn still, but this camera provides enough auto features to make the transition easier for those of us primarily used to using our smartphone for photos.
I was talking about the camera with my Dad this past weekend. He's been an avid amateur photographer since high school. As he put it, this is probably as much of a camera as I'll ever need. There are plenty of lens options for me to chose from if I want to add more in the future.
I'm glad I bought it!

I read so many reviews on cameras before buying this one. Very happy with my purchase. I bought it as a tester as I wanted to get into photography more seriously and didn't want to overspend and not continue with my hobby. I have used it for one photo shoot so far and the results were great. Easy to use and would highly recommend.

At first took some time to get use to this as I am new, completely fresh and new to photography but with a quick quick cheat sheets using the manual mode really lets me get great car shots and more. I started with things around the house and now basically shoot anything only after a few weeks of practice with it. My wife loved using it this weekend defiantly worth it for any good DSLR beginner. Easy functionality and easy to upload straight to PC or MAC.

After researching several different cameras, the package here represented a good value for the money. The Nikon is light and easy to use , lenses are of good quality and the Field Bag is nicely constructed.
Bought this for my wife 's birthday and would definitely do so again.

Been reading countless reviews and comparing the big three in Canon, Nikon, and up and coming Sony. This D3300 has a decent sensor, is easy to navigate in manual mode, and comes with two solid lenses that will get you by until you are ready to upgrade. No complaints or issues that I can see so far. Definitely happy with my choice and Nikon stands behind their product.

I wanted to use this camera awhile before i wrote a review. I have been to a few events that allowed me to use this camera in a few different settings. This last weekend I spent at an NHRA event I was shooting all the way from the top row and was able to take some really great photo's I also have been to an outdoor concert and Hot Air Balloon festival. At both of those events I was able to get some great shots. The features were easy to learn, understand, and use. The only one I had a little trouble with was panorama. I was trying to use it in bright sunlight and had a little trouble seeing the screen. I did also download the app to my cellphone that contains the manual for this Nikon camera and found it to be quite helpful. Both the original Battery and the spares that I bought lasted me all day. At the NHRA event alone I shot over 2,500 photo's each day and the battery never dropped below 50%. Camera remained in the on position probably about 10-12 hours per day.

This camera is a great place to start in the DSLR world. Controls are easy to use. Camera is lightweight, but solid. Comes with an actual manual, which explains the many functions on the camera. I am having a wonderful time discovering everything I can do, or if I don't feel like changing the settings, I can just shoot on automatic mode.

I am a beginner when it comes to DSLR cameras. I done some online research and found that this camera is the best bang for the buck. I didnt want to buy 1,000$ camera just starting out. But this package deal has everything you need and more. I have had this camera for a month or so now, and I cant stop taking pictures. There is a lot to learn about this camera. But, take it out, shoot with it; and in no time you will understand it more and more. I have taken this camera on canoe trips , disc golfing trips, paintball outings etc. This camera does amazing for its price point. And the video is very nice aswell. All around great camera.
