I've always had point and shoot cameras so moving to the next level of photography was a bit intimidating. I use the camera mainly for real estate photos so properly adjusting for light while maintaining high resolution was my primary goal. The Nikon D3300 has done a great job and the transition took about a week. I am now able to shoot dark rooms as well as very bright rooms and the photos look great! The 24mp resolution produces very crisp and clear photos showing many details that point and shoot cameras couldn't handle. I love the camera and am looking for a wide-angle lens to compliment the two that came with bundle. Great price and great quality! This camera has many features to enhance my experience but not too many that make my job cumbersome.

Easy to learn and best pictures I have seen from a camera! My wife and I just had our first child and my wife wanted to get into photography and is very pleased with how easy this camera is to pick up and learn! Lots of options and bonus lens is great for outside shots! A+ purchase

I bout this camera to replace a stolen D3000 from a few years ago. The D3300 is far better in every aspect. The images are sharper and the detail is just there (it is more than double the 10MP of the D3000). This camera has re ignited my love of photography all over again. The ability to use my old lenses as well as my Fathers really old Nikon F mount lenses is a huge plus. The manual mode can be difficult to lean if you have never handled a DLSR but will not take long to get used to as Nikon's menus are great. The video capture is also fantastic but if you plan on taking a lot of video get a 64gb sd card and an external microphone to get the most out of it. This was by far the best camera for me but make sure to do your research before buying any DSLR.

Its has most needy features and compact. Good quality of pictures.

This is my third Nikon camera and all I can say is I love Nikon! I have never had any problems with any of my Nikon cameras and this one continues to make me happy. I love the quality of the pictures along with the ease of using it. I will continue to buy Nikon products and recommend to anyone.

I have had the camera for about a month now. Takes excellent photos. The auto mode will produce great photos, but as you understand light and the different settings, the possibilities are endless. I recommend that if you buy anything else, get yourself a shoe flash. Nikon makes a variety of shoe flashes. If you are on a budget, I have had success with Yongnuo flashes. Most notably the YN565EX. You want to make sure if you are going off brand that you make sure its made for your camera model. It really helps make a difference with light. The pop-up flash is just ok. Also if you need more lenses, please buy name brand. Don't go cheap. You get more out of your lens than the camera body. I have not taken any videos at this time.

An excellent camera for amateur photographers. Picture quality is crystal clear due to the 24 MP resolution. Operation is intuitive and the manual has all the information you need. On another note, it would also be a great idea to purchase an additional battery.

While I'm still learning how to use it, I really like what I've seen so far. It has an easy mode which is great for now. I purchased the camera to get action shots of my kids playing sports and it has been great for that! I'm looking forward to learning more.

I have wanted to get into photography for a long time and finally had the funds to do it. The price wasn't overly expensive and the camera fit my beginner needs. I've already taken tons of pictures and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Eventually I plan on getting more accessories to make this new hobby even more fun! This came with a carry case that fits everything you will need. The lenses are more for close up and another for a little distance, but I can't wait to buy even more lenses to increase the camera's capabilities. All in all the camera is quick, easy to use, and a joy! Just be sure to read the manual and to look up things as you go along. I love this camera!

Bought this camera for my girlfriend. She takes photos of our baby and they look so crisp and clean. She says the camera is easy to use if you have not owned a DSLR camera before. The camera takes clear photos of everything. Such a gret camera.

Love this camera. Very easy to use, pictures come out great. Not overly complicated for a beginner but yet has more features that fit the needs of more experienced photographers as well.

This is my first DSLR and I love it. It has many great features and its compact size makes it easy to carry. It is easy to use and there are many resources available to learn the how to's.

I bought this every level camera for my significant other during Christmas sales. She has been wanting to get into photography to expand her crafty nature. The red model was the only one I stock so I purchased it with the expectation of being returned. She loved having a color that wasn't the usual black. She has used the camera during outings and designing birthday invitations. She is very happy with quality of the photos and not overwhelmed by the cameras options to customize for lighting and environmental factors. She is now looking to expand her knowledge with different lenses and accessories. This camera will keep her happy for years to come.

this is a great camera. very easy to use and takes very good pics. the lens are easy to change out. you will not be disappointed with this camera

I've only used my D3300 a couple of times. In the past I had a 35mm Minolta with several lenses, several Panasonic Lumix Point and Shoot cameras (one of which always stays in my purse), all of which I was very familiarized with and did super shots for me. Now I've graduated and am reading Nikon D3300 for Dummies.....worth reading......so I can use all of the marvelous settings etc. and get great pictures. I'm looking forward to using this Nikon for the wild life I so love. My Nikon was a gift to myself, one that I've wanted for years and since I'm 77 years old in 2 weeks, I decided it was time!!! If you buy this DSLR, you will be VERY pleased!

This camera is a great option for anyone that wants to start in the photography world. It provides a good amount of options and modes to help beginners and a lot of potential as an easy to use camera for professionals. The pack with the 18-55 and 55-200 lenses and the bag is a great offer since it has almost everything you need. The only con was the pack not including an SD card.

The secondm. Nikon I have purchased at Best Buy. Ease of use along with advanced features and awesome two lenses.

Love that the camera is as advanced as it is and able to do so much yet is simple and compact enough so that you aren't carrying around a huge bulky item...the picture quality is great! I would recommend this item to friends and family

This was a Christmas gift and my daughter loves it. It's easy to use and the accessories are of good quality. She was taking pictures about an hour after opening her gift. The quality of the pictures is incredible even for a beginner.

I bought this camera to learn the ropes on photography. Have played with the different lens... Now just need to read my manual on all the settings. But to some it up... I love it!!!!
