This is a good camera for someone buying a DSLR camera for the first time. The features are easy to use and image quality is great. The various modes supported by the camera are good. The body and lens is not very heavy and is easy to carry.

This camera is relatively simple to use, produces excellent pictures, very good quality lenses, customer service at Nikon is very good. The light weight is also a nice feature.

Having had too many point and shoot cameras fail on us over the years we decided to take advantage of the best buy deal for this camera at about 40% off. My wife and I were a little nervous since neither of us had owned a SLR camera let alone really operated one. so this was the most expensive camera we ever purchased. The instructions were pretty straight forward regarding how to get the lens onto the camera. We were soon off and shooting pictures. the auto settings were similar to what we've been using, but we weren't familiar with some of the other options. we'll have to keep playing with it, but it fun camera to learn the ropes with.

This is our first Nikon we have owned let alone a really nice camera as well. It takes such great pictures and is so easy to use. We got some amazing family pictures off of it

I purchased this for my wife. She is a beginner and knows very little about cameras. This is fairly easy to use and the pictures and video are so much better than we expected.

Great for a first time amateur camera experience. Lightweight body and lenses makes this a great for carrying around but not feel like a brick is hanging around your neck.

After a disappointing experience with the Nikon L810 I was hesitant to buy another Nikon camera. I spend around one month reading comparatives and face-to-face technical specs with other brands and several sources pointed the Nikon D3300 as the best DSLR entry level in the market, so I gave it a try and I'm very pleasant with this product. It has a very good valance between price and image quality. Actually, I learned that the sensor and image processor of this entry level camera is even better than the sensor and image processor of the high end cameras of a couple years ago. In resume, I'm happy with my D3300.

Takes beautiful photos. Easy to use. Second Nikon I've owned.... Would recommend for anyone wanting clear, beautiful photos.

Love it easy to use....with options to start getting into all the special features....love the fact that it has two lenses. I just wish I would have gotten it last year.

I had my Canon Rebel DSLR for at least 8 years - really wanted an updated version! I had previously owned a Nikon 35mm and LOVED it! So searched through reviews on many websites and this one kept coming up - I received for Christmas and have used it a few times since then! So far - I LOVE it! Have not used some of the features - such as the wi-fi, video, or zoom lens - but I am really anxious to do so! I don't think you will be disappointed with this camera! I'm not a professional - but I love to shoot while traveling and ALWAYS at family gatherings! Basics work fine for me - and this one is great!

I researched and found this one to give you the best bang for your buck based on what I read and the reviews. And the reality it is....that it does. If you compare the specs on this camera along with all features that you get with this package its and easy choice that its the best thing out there.

This is an awesome camera very easy to use. Just following a few pages in the provided documentation, I was able to take great pictures. Would definitely recommend.
