Out of the box the camera is nearly a point and shoot in the automatic mode. That was important to me because I wanted to use it at a wedding and have great pics. It performed well. I also wanted to have control and all the benefits associated with a camera of this price class. I'm learning a lot about photography with ISO and exposure. It's at great fit for me. Might be for you if you want great pics guaranteed while you learn to shoot like a pro.

Been wanting to upgrade for some time now and took advantage of the bundle package a few weeks ago. I must say I'm very satisfied with the quality for the price. New features on this camera need some time getting use to but once I took it out for some shoots around the town I quickly got the hang of them. Will advise to look over the manual carefully for details but the hands on experience is what makes this camera a good pick.

This bundle by far is the best value for entry level and beginners going into DSLR photography. Very light weight and featured filled camera. Takes getting use to because it is smaller than most DSLR, so if your hands are more than medium sized there is an initial comfort adjustment time.
