Powerful camera for the price point, a lot of versatility and features for everyone. I'm still learning and this camera makes it fun, it's lighter, and the settings and controls are intuitive. Happy with the camera and the photos.

Great camera. We are a Nikon family and will continue to be. I have had the Nikon D5100 for years and this camera compares very favorably to mine. This bundle package was a great deal with the telephoto lens and camera bag.

I practiced a few times and seemed to learn quickly. I read about features and found it easy to begin taking pictures. Used it during Christmas and made great pictures.

This camera is a step up from a point and shoot. There is a lot to learn but it easy to use and I'm constantly learning new ways to use it. It is very lightweight, not horrible to carry around at all. I really love it. Pictures are so crisp.

Still learning the features. Love the automatic mode. I have been able to take pictures of birds in the distance, and in flight, and they are turning out beautiful. Our family Christmas pictures turned out wonderful too.

I gave this to my wife for Christmas. As a beginner DSLR it seems really good with a lot of features. Some of the effects on the camera are neat and the package deal with the zoom lens was great. Controls overall are not really intuitive but you would need to know what you are looking at regarding settings anyway so that will probably come as she uses the camera more.

I am new to owning this type of camera so it is still a little trial and error but so far I am loving it. It takes great pictures and isnt terribly complicated. I am looking forward to our beach vacation phots already.

We got this camera package before Christmas and we are so glad we did! We love it! We thought long and hard (spent months and months) trying to decide which camera to get. This camera is great and takes great pictures!

This is my first dlsr camera. The bundle is great having an extra lense and case. The controls are easy to use and figure out, and the camera takes great pictures.

Did a lot of legwork before making this buy, an upgrade from the D3100 I owned. Good lens package, the short lens was rated higher than the previous version, unless you are a clutz don't worry about the construction.

Takes great pictures and has great features, well worth the investment.

I bought this to replace an old cannon AE1 because film is getting hard to find and digital is easier to work with. The camera takes nice photos but is overly complicated. The software sucks and the Nikon website is about 25 years old. You can figure it out yourself, and if you get it on sale you'll be happy but I think there are probably better camera around.

I bought this camera through best buy during thanks giving deal. Although the deal is same price across all stores but Best buy offering Shutterfly photo book. I loved this camera a lot and this was my first DSLR.

Easy to use , great package deal , wish the WIFI adapter worked with iPhone as well as android.

Still learning how to use all the functionality. Picture quality is superb.

Great results, easy to use. Kit lenses are a bit on the cheap-side and kind of kludgy, but easy to figure out, and the click-lock button could actually be beneficial to keep the lens from extending out when carried.

So far so good. Got this camera for my budding 13 yo photographer. Very user friendly and easy to get started. Photos much better than with point and shoot. Bundle deal made decision easy to purchase at Best Buy
