When you begin with a Nikon product you can't go wrong. It is lightweight and has all the features a photographer needs.

love the camera for beginners, The images are sharp and clear. Can definitely see the difference from a point and shoot camera. The extra lens is very beneficial to take nice scenery pictures. Overall, i would recommend to all beginners photographers

This is the first upgrade of a digital camera I have made in over ten years. Having done considerable research on this and a Canon before purchasing I decided on the Nikon as being a little better bang for the buck. I have not been disappointed. This camera works great, is easy to use and takes very good 1080P video's.

Was considering this camera or a Canon. After a little research on both. I decided on this camera bundle. Some pros for this camera is the high mega pixel. The camera has a very good focus rate and quick save rate. Only cons that I can see is that when using the video, the focus rate is a little slow when using zoom. Also when saving in both Raw plus JPG Fine output at same time, you can only take 1 picture per 3-4 seconds. But in Raw or Fine JPG you don't have any issues.

This is my first DSLR camera. I have found it to be very easy to operate and am happy with the features on this camera.

This camera is very usful and easy to work, I recommend it for beginners since it will help you get used to the camera and then later on you can purchase one that has more equipment for experts.
