I wanted a bit more of a camera than typical point-and-shoot that I've always had. I have a lot to learn about the camera but plan to take some classes. The pictures I've taken have been excellent quality, and I am very pleased with my choice.

The D3300 is a perfect starter camera (along with the lenses) however their are 2 things that other's may want to consider. This camera utilizes 9 focal point while the D5300 and up use more focal points which does limit in some instances what is in focus. Lastly the D3300 comes with a WIFI adapter but it would have been much nicer if it was integrated. It would also be nice if using the WIFI adapter you could save your pics to a networked drive for example (versus just copying them to your phone or tablet).

was a Christmas gift for teenage daughter, first camera ever, she is learning a lot. The pictures look awesome on her computer.

I bought this for my daughter who has a love for photography. She is 11 and in love with how easy it works. Clear photos, can't miss a moment with the burst shooting! Wasn't sure of the color of the camera but she finds the red color trendy!

This camera takes excellent photos of my grandsons, scenery, animals & video. I still have a lot to learn about it, but love it.

I'm a beginner in photographer and chose the Nikon D3300 after doing some research. The camera is awesome and after trying out different settings and modes, I am very impressed. I just can't stop taking photos. Good quality and easy to use. Auto mode gets you started as soon as you open the box. Solid camera for the price.

I am enjoying my first DSLR camera. I am taking an online course to get myself onboard with this technology. I am using the camera for work and pleasure. I have always enjoyed good photography. Hopefully, I too will become a good photographer.

Easy to learn right from the start using auto mode. Beautiful shots first time out. Very happy. Now I can get back into photography using digital format. Everyone in family wants to use it.

I am new to DSLR and this was a recommendation to me. It was easy to figure out and the photos are great. Still have not read the instruction manual which will probably help me even more.

I have a Canon Rebel T3 and wanted to upgrade for lots of reasons. Glad I bought this Nikon for a really good price with lots of nice free stuff. It takes great pictures and easy to use.
