Great for small hands

I held both several times and the Nikon felt the best! It has not disappointed! I've taken it out almost daily for over a week and while I'm still learning many of the features, my hands have yet to get tired. The picture quality is great as far as a beginner DSLR camera. I've only got experience with point and shoot cameras. I read several articles in what to look for in a camera before my purchase. The biggest thing was to make sure it felt good in your hands.
