I was on the fence between Nikon and Canon. I went to the store and picked them both up. The Nikon had the better feel. Still learning everything that this camera can do.

After moving from a very good 35mm SLR camera through various digital "point and shoot" cameras it was time to purchase one that produced results equal to the old 35mm.

Great camera so far. I've only had it for a few months. The pictures are crisp and clean. Was told by a very talented photographer that this was the camera to get if you're just starting out. The additional lens in this bundle is helpful. Bought this for more of a larger format printing, although haven't gotten to that yet. Still have to read some of the manual to figure out all the options, though.

Purchased this camera based upon reviews. I am a beginner and have learned so much from this camera. The ability to change exposure, lighting, depth and shutter speed were nerve wracking to me. With in a hours I was up and running very comfortably. The Live View helps you obtain a real vision of the what the photo will look like. I would buy another one for sure!
