It was the best buy at Best Buy. I compared it to the Cannon T series and the Nikon was the better buy.

So far I love this camera! Although it is the entry camera in the Nikon line, the D3300 has performed way above my expectations. The kit lens works well and I have been able to get some beautiful pictures with it. I also purchased the 35mm 1.8 DX lens and I am very happy with the results.

So far, so good !! We use this mostly in the Video mode and we have been very happy with the quality of footage we have gotten from it

The quality of the pictures are great! We upgraded from a older canon digital camera to a DSLR camera. The picture quality makes a world of a difference. No need to go to a photography for pictures anymore, we can do it ourselves.

Two members of my family own this model camera and both are extremely pleased with it. Photos are outstanding and you can take great photos without having to be a professional photographer. Definitely a good buy for those who want to memorialize life through photography.

I purchased this camera for pleasure, as a beginner, so that I could learn more about photography. I also purchased a book to help me learn the ins and outs of my camera. It's a great device and easy to use.

Very nice camera. Have lots to learn. Accompanying manual is not as helpful as it should be. I needed to call support for more information as to how to access all the cameras features.

the camera is wonderful, easy to use, and if you love to take photos, this is the one to use. it is all about the person taking the photo, what you see and feel makes all the difference when taking a photograph you have to have the passion to take great pics!!

I'm just beginning to learn about photography so this camera is perfect for me. It has most of the bells and whistles more expensive cameras have. I researched cameras before I bought this one and this one came up as the best reviewed beginner DSLR camera.

The Nikon - D3300 DSLR Camera is a great camera, BUT without a zoom that does not go past 50 mm it is just as good as my iPhone 4 camera..which is outdated. We were excited to get the camera, but we soon found out that there is no zoom other than what came with the camera...a few weeks later Best Buy had the same camera on sale, but with a 50-200 mm zoom for less than we paid. The camera is nice, but I am less likely to use it due to no zoom. I would only recommend the camera if a zoom were added (more than 50 mm).
