This is a great camera for beginners but also lets you grow and master with the same camera. Many online tools as well which is super helpful for learners like me who would rather see than just read a manual! Huge fan!

I am a first time buyer of a Nikon camera and I must say it is a great product for first timers! It is very user friendly and simple to maneuver between settings. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I decided to finally buy a new camera and this was a simple and easy camera to use. It does ever thing I need it too and more. Nikon products are always great. When I upgrade again I will stay with the Nikon product.

This was my second DSLR, (first being a handed down D200) this camera did everything it was supposed to do, EXCEPT 100% of the time the wifi transfer application works on its own free will (if it's feeling cooperative) be ready to connect and disconnect 20 times to get it to actually work. Outside of that "issue" its been a fantastic camera, Other than the app issue the only other thing I wish it had was a tilting Rear display, but for $100 more you can fix that issue with the D5300

This is my first DSLR camera and it has been easy and fun to use! The manual explains all the settings but it has been very easy to navigate by "just clicking around" through the menus and settings!

This is a great camera for someone like me who enjoys going out and taking photos as a hobby, while hiking or traveling. It works well and is easy to use, both in the manual and auto modes.

My daughter had been saving for a while to get this camera and she loves it. She’s been using it to take pictures for her HS yearbook and has no complaints. A great camera for the price.

Overall haply with my purchase. Definitely a lot to learn and it is very technical when compared to point and shoot.

I love this camera. There’s a lot of things you can do on it and there’s a lot to learn. But I like that you can use it straight out of the box without any knowledge of photography.

The best purchase I've ever made! I would definitely stick to Nikon brands in the future. Easy to operate and guides you in learning more about taking better pictures in any setting.
