LOVE the guided mode. I’m very much a beginner and this camera is just what I needed to start off with. I bought it to capture our families special moments, and I love it!

I stepped up from the Nikon DX40 and it's AWESOME. I have a great photograph camera that can also shoot digital video at 60 fps. Looks like I got the best of both worlds!

Wanted to get a DSLR for my daughter but didn't want to break the bank. This was a great camera at the price point. Overall easy to use, light, compact, with good vibrant reduction and image stabilization. Good battery life, wifi- connection, a-okay flash and the "auto" features takes care of most things you'd need. For me the cool feature was snapbridge which let me transfer pictures from the camera to my iPhone. What could have been improved: auto eyeview, string to connect lens cap. But again this is bare bones so you may want to get a package to add needed stuff like filters

Is an amazing camera not only for beginners, i'd recommend it to everybody take such amazing photos, I even won a photography contest with this camera

I had never touched a DSLR prior to buying this camera, and it's been extremely easy to learn. Takes high quality photos right out of the box, highly recommend!

Good quality megapixels. Good quality video, some slight focusing issues but could be my technique. A little disappointed that the 18-55mm lens no longer comes standard with VR image stabilization, good thing I have my old one from my D3000. Overall good product though.

My only regret is not getting the combo with two lenses! Great camera. One negative, if there's a way to set up a remote trigger, I've not figured it out.

Having never used a DSLR before (aside from testing out my buddy's D710), the D3400 is a great value for anyone not wanting to spend a lot for a first camera. The camera body, as light as it is, definitely works well with smaller lenses, but can be a bit awkward and lense-heavy with telephoto or larger lenses. However, great beginner/amateur to intermediate camera!

Pleased with the product. Being used for photography of lighting and furniture products. Images are used for web and print marketing. Very adequate.

its been great for me as a new user, i have taken picures better than ever. i dont relly kmow much whats good or not but i won a contest all ready with it

Great camera, easy to use, many different modes. Very useful guide mode to switch to different modes when you are trying to get a hang of it.

Love the quality of the pictures - no blurr! We have 7 grandchildren always on the move. Great camera!

This is a great camera that has the potential to upgrade with lenses. The camera is fairly easy to use and the users manual was actually understandable.

Camera is awesome. Just getting into photography and I've upgraded to a 50MM lense. Camera has so many features to take wonderful pictures.
