My first DSLR camera

But as I have gotten better and taking pictures and understand cameras more, I decided to up my game and get a DSLR. This has been a great camera and really good value for getting into DSLR if you want to give it a try.

Great camera even for a beginner

Great Camera

Basically just wanted an entry level DSLR for family photographs. There is a learning curve with DSLRs unlike point and shoot cameras i guess. I am still learning but have taken some really great photographs outdoors and have experimented a bit with 'painting with light'. Great sharp images. But didn't see very good results with indoor lighting. Might be usage error but have ordered a Prime lens 50mm/1.8G. Had to order 1.8G because 1.8D does not auto focus with D3500. Waiting for my prime lens to arrive to see results with indoor lighting without increasing the ISO too much.
