Nice beginning camera. Fits in your hand perfectly, and simple to get started with. Plenty of users on the web giving professional how to demos. To that point the one disappointment was the free Nikon demo that came with it indicated it would cover wirelessly sharing your photos but did not,,,that was suppose to be the first topic covered but it continually skipped over it and always began on the second topic, which was frustrating. Still getting the hang of the different lenses but excited to continue the journey.

This was my daughters birthday gift, as she is starting photography classes. Originally I was planning on a Canon, buy after reading online reviews, decided on NIKON. Daughter seems pleased with it. She has been using it for a day. Will wire a detailed review after a few uses and the experience

Great Camera! I specially love the fact that it connects wirelessly to my computer thru the Nikon App. and it automatically downloads the pictures to my photo file on the computer. I believe it is a great Camera for beginners to start and grow with.

Excellent product for the price point. although I didn't get the free camera bag as promised I got an extra lens which was more valuable

We're enjoying our new camera and telephoto lens. Takes great photos...may ultimately want a stronger telephoto. Pretty easy to use.

I haven't had a chance to use the camera yet. The wedding is October 27th. My daughter is familiar with Nikon and she says it is a good one. I am not fond of the idea that we have to go online to obtain a video on how to operate, but all in all the product seems to be very good.

Son asked for a digital camera. Checked with a professional photographer friend who suggested this model as a great starter camera. Was told the package deal (camera, 2 lens, memory card) available Black Friday was an excellent deal so guess what...son will have under the tree on Christmas morning!

I recently purchased this camera and thus far I have really enjoyed this camera. In the past I have purchased the basic point and shoot style camera, so I was ready to upgrade my photo equipment. It is still much to learn but I have enjoyed exploring the different features with this camera

I’ve been wanting to purchase this camera for a while now and I finally have! Exactly what I had hoped for and more! Easy to use and love how it can connect to an app on your phone to be able to download your photos within minutes!

This is an awesome camera. I have enjoyed taking beginners photos with it. I looked up the model on google and it really opened up some of the settings you can do... like improved shutter speed. For someone who has never owned a "fancy camera" before, I am very pleased.

I bought it for my wife because she always wanted a Canon actually. After discussing cameras with the extremely knowledgeable sales associate in Evansville, Indiana we went with this Nikon. My wife absolutely loves it...

I bought this for my trip to Italy, and it was absolutely incredible! The zoom, the crisp image, its great. Also the fact that it came with the bag, this was an amazing purchase and Ive been using it every weekend now just to take pictures around the park and backyard.

This is the best camera I've ever owned, I got my first camera in 1964. I thought I was in heaven and I've had 35 mm cameras since. But they can't compare with this one and I don't intend to stop until they pry it from my cold dead hands.

I love that it came with an extra lens and carrying case. It also came with a 30 minute online tutorial on how to use the camera and its features. I label myself as a beginner but my first set picture did not reflect that. Make sure to buy an extra battery for longer use.

I've always had the cheap $60 cameras, so I broke down and bought this camera. I really love it and the fact it came with the long lens and a camera bag was a big plus.

decided to go with beginner DSLR. Quality is amazing and the kit includes the telephoto lens which is perfect for sports or portraits. I was never a pro, but was always into specs and possibilities. this camera is very good overall and perfect when you consider the price.

I recently purchased this camera to take pictures of my child. It is perfect for a beginner! It has been so easy to use and I have really enjoyed practicing with it. My favorite part is that the photos on the camera automatically sync to my phone.

I took a photography class 10 years ago in high school and have continued taking pictures with my phones. I have gotten into birding and wanted a camera to take pictures of birds and other wildlife. I have really enjoyed using this camera. Easy to use, need to practice as well.

Bought this for my daughter for a Christmas gift. She likes it. It has many nice features. She owned a Nikon camera before which was dropped and broken. My husband also owns a Nikon camera. We have been very happy with them.

Great camera for the price. I have had little trouble with learning basic operation, although the online manual could be more in depth. I am a VERY amateur photographer, having used various cameras over many years, and this one is as good as any I've owned.
