I got it for my Father for Father's Day. He has one but, its only for portrait shots. He hasn't said anything bad about the camera or the kit, just all good things.

I used this camera on a recent vacation to Alaska.. and WOW... I was so impressed at my photo's!!! You won't be disappointed!!! I also bought a good flash and added a wide angle lens...

I love my Nikon! This was an excellent purchase and I have learned so much. I will but upgrading eventually but this was an excellent starter camera.

When in doubt Nikon it out. Nikon is one of the most trusted names in photography and for good reason. I am in love with this camera and it is great if your going from analog to digital.

Purchased this digital camera to replace the 35mm that we have had for years that have 3 different lens. Real nice camera...still have a lot to learn on how to use it. Really enjoy the camera.

Love this camera. I've been able to take amazingly close-up pictures of my swimmers, capturing their faces and even the water droplets from their swim stroke, from high up in the stands.

I'm just learning to use this camera but it's been very intuitive and easy. I think anyone looking for a quality entry camera in the DSLR range should consider this one.

Impressive and less expensive Nikon 3500 for its price. My only disappointments is the microphone quality is honestly pretty terrible so recording videos without an external microphone is not going to sound very good. The picture quality and actual video quality itself is very impressive otherwise.

I purchased this to go on a trip to NYC and wanted to take more than iPhone pix. It worked perfectly and delivered professional looking images for a wanna be amateur photographer.

Excellent camera I use it professionally the lenses that come with it aren't so good. You will need better lenses but it's great for starting out
