Improvement over the D3200

You have the ability to manually focus, autofocus and pretty much set up however you want your camera to work. If you are nervous leave it on autofocus and shoot away. When you get comfortable change it up.

Had no problems at all and is easy to use. I am a beginner and love this camera and plan on using it a lot.

The only issue I have is the inability to connect an external mic. The built-in mic is not good at all so if you are seeking a camera for vlogging this may not be it for you. But for general photography, I'd recommend it.
