Actually teaches you how to take great picture. Purchased as a gift for my daughter, now that she is back at school, I am considering purchasing another d3500!

Purchased for my daughter and she loves it. She uses this camera almost daily. She is able to take great pictures at sporting events as well family gatherings.

At the end of the day it's the good lens that captures super moments. This camera does great. No issues. You won't be disappointed with the investment.

Easy set up, easy to use. You can do as much or as little with this camera as you want to. Really will make you look like a pro with the pictures you can take in the auto mode

This was a gift to my wife who is getting into photography, this is a great starter set for someone looking to get into more than cell phone pictures. The 70-300mm lens is fantastic and gets great close ups. There are plenty of settings to learn the proper application before upgrading camera bodies.

Never owned a DSLR camera and was afraid it would be too complicated. I've owned a number of point-and-shoots, but this is probably the easiest camera to learn.
