    This purchase was actually a gift for my grandson on his 18th birthday. I've had the Nikon D3200 for a few years and that replaced my Nikon FM 35mm that I'd had for 30 years. Nikon has never disappointed in picture quality. He always likes taking pictures with mine so he will enjoy this camera for years.

    while not the MOST user friendly, it is still definitely for beginners(of which i am). capable of taking beautiful pictures but lacks more advanced features like auto bracketing. it also has a loud shutter(even on quiet mode) so this camera is maybe not the choice if you want to get into street photography

    I love this camera but my biggest issue is that the selection of iso and f-stops is digital and a little complicated. Also putting it on autofocus is about the only way I’ve been able to get a clear photo. It’s definitely a great deal though and nothing you can’t figure out without reading the manual.

    My son and I had so much fun with this camera that we took 360 pictures at our family reunion on the second day we used it. The day was typical CO weather and we had bright sun (used a polarizer filter), heavy rain (the pictures came out even tho we were soaked), wind, and at the end of day- dusk was settling in. We took outdoor pictures and close-ups and wide angles. The telephoto was so easy to use it didn't take an older person such as myself but a few pics to understand its use. Can't comment on indoors pictures as we are having too much fun outside this summer.
