    I think this is an amazing camera for a beginner! Besides having an auto mode, the camera has a "guide" mode to assist you through taking photos you want to take!! It also came with an instructional video to teach you about this particular camera for when you want to try using the scary "manual" mode. The camera's quality and learning assistance exceeded my expectations!!!!
