    This is a great camera to start in the DSLR world. There's a large selection of lenses for this but the 2 lense kit is a great start for the bovice/hobbyist like myself

    Purchased this combo for family pictures and my sons Grad Pictures. Worked wonderfully. Just takes a little practice and you will be capturing wonderful memories.

    Takes nice pictures. Thats it. If you own a MacBook Pro, getting your video out requires a separate purchase, Micro USB to Thunderbolt 3. Does NOT HAVE A MIC INPUT. DO NOT BUY A MIC FOR THIS. No, the micro USB cannot be used to connect a microphone with an adapter. I tried. Spoke with Nikon. Not possible. Really not so user friendly. Video cannot be extracted with the SnapBridge app. You must connect directly to your computer. The cable is annoyingly difficult to find. If you choose the HDMI port, it is the MINI HDMI (HDMI-C or something like that) so yes, I bought the wrong HDMI to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. Supper annoying camera.

    Where to start, the included lens are "ok" for beginners but I often find myself now using them they offer some flexibility but I'd recommend buying a 50mm lens soon after. The camera is pretty good packed with features.
