I am not a professional photographer, but I take a lot of pictures at both indoor and outdoor events. This is just the camera I needed. The lens packages were great and the bluetooth syncing to my phone is awesome for quick posts. I have had Nikon camera's in the past and the features were familiar. I was off and shooting right away. Great camera for anyone short of a pro!

The D3500 is a basic DSLR camera that allows for all ability levels to use. The controls are simple to use if you have ever had any experience with a 35MM SLR. I was so impressed with the light weight body and lens included after having an all metal SLR from the 70's. It appears to be very durable compared to 2 pocket camera that I have broken in the past 5 years.

This is my first “real camera”. I’m still getting used to it. Went off the reviews online and was highly recommended. The app gave me a hard time at first but I got it all set. It does say you can use it via WiFi but I can’t figure that out. I wish there was more of a user manual for it. It did come with a class which I will take to learn more how to use it but so far takes good photos

Excellent 2 lense camera package. Have already taken some wonderful pics. Still need to learn many of manual functions, but enjoyed so far. Bluetooth capability is nice...download to phone & share! Only issue I see, so far, is availability of super zoom lens for D3500 model. (Seems like available for most other Nikon models...meaning above 300mm lens).

After my old Sony digital camera that took floppy discs gave out on me, I tried one of my old Minolta 35mm cameras for a while. What a hassle! loading and then trying to find somewhere to get the film developed...and waiting. I purchased the new camera hoping that I would be pleased. Well, I couldn't be happier. It takes great stills and video with great sound quality. I have the best of both worlds now great pics and video! I highly recommend this camera.

Very easy to use and operate. I'm a beginner and have been able to play around with manual settings fairly easily. I picked this camera over the latest in the Canon T series primarily because of weight. The Canon is more bulky/heavy, and I wanted something light that I could travel with easily. The two lens deal was great as well.

We were on vacation, and our Canon DSLR camera gave up the ghost. I have always owned NIKON SLR cameras, and when I saw this at a Local Best Buy it was a no brainer. Ease of use, quality NIKON workmanship, and the package was a great value. Still going strong and a super product and NIKON tough too!

Excellent kit to get started with photography. Having fun with it thus far. It produces fantastic images. The price point of the bundle with the kit lenses allows you to get started right away without additional purchases. The battery life is excellent. It lasts a long time. For what is included, this is priced well.

The name Nikon is synonymous with excellence and this camera lives up to that expectation. Great features, easy to use right out of the box. Recommend to both beginner and experienced photo fans. This was a replacement for a P530 that was stolen a couple of years ago and is even better than the earlier one.

This Nikon camera is great for beginners as well as photography enthusiasts who need an affordable high quality camera. I found the camera easy to use and it has a quick shutter response. I highly recommend this camera my photos are sharp and can be printed in larger formats due to the number of pixels.

I bought this camera to get into some basic photography, so far I love it. It's easy to use and very lightweight. The kit was great as well. I think my next purchase will be a lens between the two included here because it's annoying to switch back and forth constantly. As a whole, a great deal for a great camera.

This camera is super easy to learn and works great. I have the 5300 and bought this as a graduation present for my daughter. She was able to take pictures with it right out of the box (once we got her a memory card) She loves the zoom lens. It lets her get in close to take really great pictures.

Its marketed as an entry level DSLR camera and that is why I purchased this one. I was expecting to like this camera but after a very short time of using it, I love it. Takes great pictures and is easy to use. Honestly, this camera far surpassed my expectations.

This camera is great for getting started with DSLRs and the lenses that come with it are fun to practice with. Neither lens offers a very low f stop, so you'll have to work to get some blurring in the background of certain shots, but the clarity of the photos produced by this device is great. I would recommend getting it when it is on sale, keeping in mind that while it compares closely to the Canon T7i, it lacks some of the tech that camera has, making the dollar value of this Nikon a bit lower in my opinion.

I love taking photos but have zero knowledge when it comes to photography. This one is easy to set up thanks to online step by step set up I found and easy to use. I take photos for our wrestling club and this one works great for the quick motions and when I'm unable to be next to the mat, the camera has great zoom reach. Its also light weight so my arm doesn't get tired holding it up for a full tournament day. Note: I rarely use the shorter lens and am not a fan of it.

This is my first step up from taking snapshots with my phone. Easy to use and full of features. I've been learning with this camera exclusively using all of the manual settings. It's been fun and is great camera if you are just starting out in photography.
