This is an awesome camera. It takes nice pictures and will be buying a Micro lens too !

First DSLR. I did a lot of research and compared features (Cannon/Olympus/Sony), and this model has better features for the price. WIFI is easy to use and lets you easily share pictures with other people (as long as they have the Utility App). 18-55 lens is ok, there are other packages out there that come with the 18-140 lens for about $150 more, but if you buy this lens separately its almost 400 bucks. Otherwise great camera.

Very easy to use! The Nikon d5300 is very easy to work with. And love my pictures!

this camera is pretty rad. very easy to use. basic control. kind of difficult to get used to with the menu being a bit strange. overall good camera. lens it comes with isn't very great.

I used this camera at a wedding and a program where flash use was not permitted. I got very good results.

Getting back into photography was an easy choice, almost as easy as operating the camera itself. Some of the nature photo's I've taken are awesome. Looking forward to taking a fair amount of photo's in the near future. This camera is user friendly (lots of guides on Pinterest, Google, etc.) and amazing clarity, especially when you start getting different lenses! I recommend it to all my friends looking into DSLRs, especially when they’re on a budget!
