This is an excellent camera. Chose this over a canon, very nice pics.

Great quality camera I don't regret it at all. Sensor takes amazing gorgeous pictures, wifi capability makes it fun to use. Over all I wouldn't doubt in choosing this camera over the D7100

I upgraded from what I thought was a decent $250 point-and-shoot camera and the picture quality in terms of the range of color, color accuracy, ability to capture pictures in different lighting, and clarity are amazing. Great camera for beginners. Perfect for the prosumer market

This is my first DSLR camera and so far it has been great.

We opted to get this camera to capture special moments, that are worthy of going beyond a cell phone camera. We love that this camera can take great pictures and also video, which some earlier versions do not. We also like the ability to easily upload photos via wifi. I wish the lens had a bit more zoom capacity, and will likely buy a more powerful lens for better close-ups.

The camera is extremely easy to setup and use. The included lens is very good. Don't forget to get lens filters. Built in WIFI in the camera makes things so much easier.
