Great picture quality with a lot of functionality. Used to take indoor sports photos using sports mode, and photos come out sharp, clear, and with good lighting. For kit lens, they are sharp.

This camera is pretty amazing. I got it to capture the special moments with my family. It has some great features that I am still learning how to use but overall this camera is amazing.

I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my D3100. I like the smaller, more compact lenses and the fact that the sensor is 24 megapixels vs the 14 in my D3100. I bought this because it is almost identical to the D5600 but at a much lower price. Be aware that the 70-300 mm lens in the kit does not have vibration reduction which means that without a tripod you won't be able to get clear pictures. I'm not sure why they even make this lens without VR. The one with VR is $400. I will sell my old 55-300 lens as well as the 70-300 that came in the kit and buy the 70-300 with VR.

User friendly camera for the beginner. Absolutely awesome pictures. WiFi capability is also something great about this camera. Would definitely recommend this camera to everyone.

This camera was purchased for my family as we are just getting started with taking photos. This camera was easy to set up and have found it to be very easy to shoot pics with.

D5300 is a great camera for a beginner as myself. But two lenses sold together are not capable to handle all situation in day life. Nikon 35mm f/1.8g lens is a must have for it.

Happy with the performance. But returned this in best buy and purchased in Costco due to a great deal.

Very good camera to start professional photography. Does not come with the best lenses but has a decent kit to start with. Automatic modes are really good on this model.

This is my first DSLR... and I love it. It takes amazing pictures and the two lenses let me take pictures of just about everything from any distance. I love this camera!

I haven't gotten to use the camera much yet. However the Auto settings make it easy to immediately start taking great photos. Looking forward to learning to use it manually.
