    I was really on the fence with this camera. It did take nice pictures however I opted to go with the Sony a6000. It was a tough call, this was a very good value.

    Coming from a film SLR background where I learned about depth of field, aperture control, exposure compensation etc, this camera does all those things but it is more difficult to manipulate those features, in many respects. Furthermore, I really fail to see the usefulness of features such as toy camera and some of the other special effects built into the camera. All those gimmicks do is clutter up the interface and add to the cost. Once you finish playing around to see what they do, you'll almost never utilize them again. I suppose all new cameras have such useless gimmicks though.
