I love this camera. It is very easy to use and takes great photos. It does take a few seconds to be able to take photos, but the delay is short and once it gets going it is a really nice camera.

This is a great camera for someone who wants more than just the camera from their phone. It provides great options for the beginner photographer as well as easy to use and Ituitive interface.

I've owned SLR cameras from Nikon, Sony, and Canon, and of every product I've ever purchased of this sort, this is by far the most satisfied I've ever been, especially considering the balance between cost and performance. Everything about this camera is at the very least fairly intuitive, and the resulting photos range from excellent overall with auto settings, to absolutely stunning using the manual settings if you know what you're doing. This is an excellent package, and one that offers much better quality and useful lenses than a previous Nikon package I had purchased about five years prior. No regrets here.

I've used a Canon forever and always wanted to try Nikon.........with the special deal on this one.....I had to buy it. So far I love it. Easy to use and beautiful pictures!!

I purchased this bundle with the BF deal. It is a great bundle with both a kit lens (18-55mm) which can be used for Landscape, architectural and 70-300 for portraits,wildlife and birding. Its a great camera to get started with and then one can invest on higher end Nikon lenses based on one's interest.

This was a gift and so far he is satisfied with it. Not as good as pro camera but better than average. Great for anyone looking to upgrade from point n shoot and intro to pro photography.

This is a good camera for entry-level people. It is easy to use and pictures all very good quality. It also has Wi-Fi which make picture transferred super easy.

Actually, I have read the reviews online before I purchased this camera. So I was finally convinced to buy one. Since I am used to the lightweight digital camera, this wears my hand after five minutes of handling it. However, I have small hands and thin fingers so it is a little bit convenient for me to hold it while taking pictures. I cannot give you details on the features. The reason why I bought this dslr Nikon is to replace the digital camera I have. The colors teal and purple are the important colors I want to capture. The purple color can be captured by this Nikon but the teal color I cannot get. I still have to figure out how to get the actual teal color though I have tried to change the lighting effects or turn off the flash. I wish there is somebody out there who can help me get the actual teal color:-( So to conclude, I think I am satisfied with this and no need to return it to Best Buy!:-) Nikon DSLR captures great photos!!

I have been waiting for a while for this deal to buy the D-5300. Great quality pictures, only thing missing is the touch screen, but then get a D-5500.

As a beginner, I keep the camera in the auto focus mode. Yet the pictures look like a professional took them. It is easy to operate and fun.
