I am not a professional photographer by any means but I purchased this with almost no idea on anything. With a few general YouTube videos I was easily able to start using manual mode. Awesome for beginners!

This thing takes great pictures. A bit of a learning curve coming from a simple point and click camera but once you have the basics you can really get some beautiful shots. Battery lasts forever it seems.

This camera I am hoping will last for years to come. It seems like a great beginner camera but like it will be a great advance camera. It has a lot of advance features that will come in great as I advance in my learning process.

I took a long time to actually get my first DSLR as was not sure if I will actually using due to its weight and size but once I got this D5300 I just love it and have captured some amazing pics. Excellent Beginners DSLR camera

Bought camera for my girlfriend who wanted to get started making YouTube videos. Instantly became a fan of it. Nice clean photos the two lense are great for portraits and landscape shots.

I love the features of this camera in editing the photos right on it and using the wifi to transfer your photos to your phone is really easy and practical. The movable screen is great too just wish it was touch screen. The lens kit this comes with is nice but I have to switch between them very often for the varying shots I take which is inconvenient.

This is my first DSLR and I am impressed. The ease of use is great, the multi position screen is great for taking unique shots and the body of the camera is lightweight yet very sturdy.

I have been wanting a dslr for a long time, the sale on this was great.. The camera so far is awesome best pictures I have ever taken. Only down side is recording, the mic doesn't pick up sound real well.

The combination of shooting options are a little overwhelming, but that is part of what I wanted. Just another learning cure. So far I am very pleased with it. I have only had it a month so time will tell.

Easier to use than I thought it would be and takes great pics

good entry point for learning dslr. Probably a good idea to buy a 35mm or 50mm f1.8 lense on top of this bundle for everyday use since these two are relatively inexpensive and gives good sharpness.

I wanted an entry level DSLR for myself. I am about to take a trip to southeast Asia and I thought a DSLR would be a must-to-have. I bought D5300 at a very good discounted price on black-friday.
