Love this camera I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my Nikon D3000. The camera has a flip screen with touch screen to take pictures with. My 300 lense that I purchased for the D3000 also works on the D5500 which was definitely a plus. Also has special effects settings that are great. I wanted to be able to view the picture before taking them and this camera allows me to do so. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone that's wanting great pictures for a reasonable cost.

I read the review for the Nikon D5500 on the website dpreview.com. I like what it said about the camera, so I went to Best Buy to look at one, What impressed me about the camera, when I first tried it, was how easy it is to use. The touch screen helps the ease of use. Without any manual I could start using it.

This DSLR has been great for my family, I will stay with it for quite a while, the only upgrade I will need is a lens - which in my opinion, is for any camera! The BestBuy camera associates are also experts - highly recommend purchasing from the store directly.

This camera is great for everyday use and has the ability to transition as you become a more experienced photographer.

Easy to use, lightweight, and takes great photos. The kit lens isn't bad, but I would recommend investing in a few different ranges of faster quality.

I bought this camera for my son (high school junior) who has taken an interest in photography. He is still learning all the features available with this camera and really likes the way it works. He has taken a lot of really nice pictures so far. It was a bit of an investment but well worth it so far.
