This camera is very capable. It is easy to use and to learn. The lenses included with this deal, made it almost impossible to resist. I have used Nikon cameras and lenses for about 30 years, and I am never disappointed.

Great beginner camera, look at these amazing photos I got with it. I have been studying photography for years in college and high school, so I know my way around a camera and its settings. But if you know what you're doing, this camera isn't bad at all.

I am brand new to photography and this camera so far has been amazing. It is a step above nikon’s entry level camera without being a full blown pro camera. This helped me learn tricks and skills with the camera I would other wise be over whelmed on a Nikon D750 for example. Only disclaimer is that when it comes to photo quality it really isn’t much better than the Nikon D3600. The selling feature for me was the ability to use an extrernal microphone if I decide i want to use the camera for videos in the future and the fact that it has a rotating screen. The Nikon D3600 does not have these two features. The lenses are nice for the price of the whole package and give me something to learn on as I grow in photography.

Camera is very easy to use. Multiple settings and effects for ease of point and shoot. Manual shooting is also functional. WiFi function is great for shooting and uploading to your phone!!!

My husband bought this for me as a gift and I absolutely love it! I had a D90 several years ago and this is the cute baby sister to it. I’m so glad to have a Nikon again! The button placement feels more comfortable than on my Canon, so changing settings and even turning it on and off feels natural. I was looking at mirrorless cameras for our day trips and vacation because they are so lightweight. I carried my D5600 to the zoo and had no problem managing it. The only thing is that the Nikon sensor doesn’t produce colors as vivid as my Canon, but I can fix that in post-production. You can’t beat the feel of a Nikon.

It's an excellent Camera with easy to use instruction. You need not to be a pro - photographer to start using this. It has got surplus of pre-defined setting which takes great pictures. Excellent Product
